Loraine van der Merwe is a vital part of the Paragon team, having been with Paragon for over seven years. As Office Manager, she seamlessly blends her extensive project management expertise with a natural ability to keep everything running smoothly. With a can-do attitude and a knack for tackling even the most challenging tasks, Loraine ensures that Paragon stays on track, no matter the project size.

Before joining Paragon, Loraine spent six years in a B2B marketing and communications company, where she honed her skills as PA and Head of Projects. Now, with her understanding of the financial services industry, she’s become an integral player at Paragon, driving efficiency, fostering collaboration, and continuously working to improve operations.

Loraine thrives on problem-solving and loves finding creative ways to make processes work more effectively, all while keeping the team motivated and supported. For her, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing the team excited and energised by new opportunities.

Outside of work, Loraine is passionate about travel, history, and exploring new cultures. She holds a Digital Marketing Essentials certification from IAB and a First Level French Diploma from IAPS, Brussels.
